McKinley Station, Sol System - After almost a years of almost unfruitfull investigation in two different insidents, a Deep Space Engineering (DSE) internal auditing revealed information that had been overlooked up to now regarding the insident between Deep Space Engineering and McTychson Company (MTC) on Earth's orbit on last April 22. This information was matched by the Commision that investigated Mctychsons death, and found there has been an unidentified person that was involved in both cases.

McKinley Station insident

On April 22nd, last year, a suspicious system malfunction was the apparent cause that McKinley Station guns fired over an MTC ship that had Company's President Pablo Barral on board. Three EAL Defiants that tried to protect the ship where also destroyed in the insident. Investigation concluded that the station's weapons system was infiltrated by unknown individuals that used this stations guns to attack the MTC ship presumely trying to cause the death of Mctychson Company's President. The invasigation was left open, but no further information was discovered at that time.

McTychson's murder

On April 13th, last year, McTychson was kidnapped by an unknown group, preumely to steal the finding of a research he was doing. Some weeks later he was known to be held by pirates, Earth Alliance (EAL) then mounted a rescue mission ending in a tragic loss of lives, and marking te start of the greatest EAL political scandal of last years. In May 22nd EAL position got even worst when a group of Lane Hackers found in a derelict ship the bodies of McTychson with clear signs of torture, and of the crew of the ship, that in most cases where identified as EAL officers, causing public opinion to point the EAL as respnsable and mind behind this tragedy, despite this was never confirmed with months of investigation.

New information revealed

An internal auditing of Deep Space Engineering found oerlooked signs that may lead to the identity of the individual or individuals that sabotaed McKinley Station defence systems, causing the insident with MTC. Earth Alliance investigators matched this with the information they had collecte alnog the Mctychsons murder investigation, and this revealed that at least two of the bodies found in the ship where Mctychson's body was found, where involved in the McKinley insident.

Now DSE has joined the Commision itegrated by MTC, EAL and some independent groups, and are working on finding out new links that can lead to clarify both still open cases. Sources within the commision told GNN that the investigation is now pointing to a presumed undercover group formed by pirates, EAL officers and former members of MTC that might be behind this two and possibly other insidents that took place in the first half of last year.
